Founded in 1972 by Frederick Newby, Newby Engineering is a proudly Australian owned and family operated business.
Following illness, his son David Newby took over and the business grew from it’s humble beginnings in the garage to the reputable business it is today, spanning two factory units with a host of machinery including three CNC Mills and CNC Lathes.
Newby Engineering is now owned and operated by Davids’ son Wayne Newby, and with him comes a wealth of knowledge and experience.   A fully qualified engineer who has been a part of the business and motorsport for the majority of his life.

Having run his own Top Alcohol set up for over 20 years and now driving one of the Rapisarda Autosport  International Top Fuel Dragsters in both Australia and the USA, the Newby name is well respected within the racing community and Waynes expertise in this area is highly sought for engine builds, repairs, advice and race set ups – street, strip or marine – we have you covered.
